What We Look For in a Cleaner
We are selective about who we refer to our clients. We look for cleaners who are professional, reliable, and take pride in their work.
You must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
You must have your own vehicle to travel to client homes in Northern Virginia.
All cleaners must pass a thorough background check before being referred to clients.
Our clients expect a high standard of clean. You take pride in your work and it shows.
You show up on time, communicate clearly, and treat clients and their homes with respect.
Experience in residential or commercial cleaning is a plus but not always required.

Polished Living Cleaning is not your employer. We are a referral service that connects vetted independent cleaners with clients in Northern Virginia. You work for yourself and set your own terms.
This is discussed during the application process. Some clients prefer that cleaners bring their own supplies. We will walk you through what is expected for each job before you arrive.
Payment is handled through our platform. You will receive your earnings promptly after completing each job. We make the payment process simple and transparent.
That is completely up to you. You set your availability and we match you with as many or as few clients as you want to take on. There is no minimum requirement.
We currently refer cleaners to clients throughout Northern Virginia including Vienna, Fairfax, McLean, Reston, Herndon, Arlington, Falls Church, Chantilly, and surrounding Fairfax County areas — as well as St. Petersburg, FL, Tampa, FL, and the greater Tampa Bay area.
